Students

Title IX Compliance and Resolution Regulation defines prohibited conduct for the University community, identifies available resources and resolution options, and educates individuals about how to report concerns to the University and law enforcement. This Regulation covers students, employees, and visitors to campus.

Regulation on Reports of Prohibited Interpersonal Violence and Related Misconduct applies to incidents not captured by Title IX jurisdiction and serves as a supplement to ECU’s Title IX Compliance and Resolution Regulation. This regulation is intended to provide consistency and equity in the University’s review and response to allegations of similar forms of misconduct.

Appendix A-1 (PDF) and Appendix A-2 (PDF) of the Title IX Compliance and Resolution Regulation provides resources and reporting guides for students reporting or accused of incidents of Title IX Conduct and Related Misconduct

The ECU Student Code of Conduct applies to all enrolled ECU students including distance education students and includes information as to other potential policy violations outside of those defined in the Regulation.
